The Rush of PDA

Not too long ago, I found myself in an almost euphoric state…not because I was basking in the aftermath of Valentine’s Day, but because I was making progress notes for a client. You might have even seen my Facebook post about it. Allow me to explain…

I was in the middle of typing emails, uploading resources, and updating our shared work plan with progress notes and I felt this extreme sense of accomplishment. There was the rush of gratitude that came over me.

Not just because I was doing my part of the work.

Not just because I was paid to do this work.

But, because this is MY work.

I'm able to embrace my purpose work to help women take intentional action toward their goals. I evoke my superpower to choose by focusing on my PDA, not the touchy, feely kind, but my purpose-driven activities.

Here’s what I know about purpose-driven activities:

  • When you identify your purpose-driven activities, you give yourself the gift of clarity.

  • When you focus on your purpose-driven activities, you give yourself structured time.

  • When you work on your purpose-driven activities, you get closer to your end-goal.

These are the key components to move forward with your purpose and your brand. Here's the thing, you can create your own opportunities when you decide HOW to structure your time.

My challenge to you is to be honest about what you want, identify what's missing, and being real about what it takes to get there.
