Be Honest, You're Not Regular

I recently found myself being grateful for asking for what I needed this past weekend, but it started almost 2 years ago, when I found myself alone, struggling, and wanting to quit.

I knew that I needed someone, something, somewhere to go to escape for even just a little while to figure it all out.

I remember almost 2 years ago, I went to my husband and I said I want to go away, I let just the statement linger...then I finished by saying I want to go away to this business retreat. I need to find someone that can relate to me, someone that can be in my corner, and someone that can elevate me from this slump I’m in.

I told him I’m tired of praying about it. I’m tired of trying to figure it out. I need to go.

And so, I went. And it literally changed my life. I met my current business coach on this trip, and I have been connected to her ever since. Which brings me back to this weekend…

I was able to travel yet again to be with my business coach for an intimate, half-day retreat for like-minded business owners and entrepreneurial women. It was just what I needed, a reminder.

The reminder that when you’re honest about what you really, really want and what it takes to get there, it’s scary as hell. But, you give yourself the gift of knowing when you're honest.

Few people can even handle the magnitude of honesty with self, and even fewer can actually operate from this place of truth. Operating from this place of truth means, you know that not everyone can make the journey with you or understand that you're just not regular and you want more. And that’s OK, as long as you have someone in your corner that already believes you can win.

That’s the power behind my transformational accountability program, PRESS. I believe that when you make the decision to invest in yourself, you've already won, which is why I get SO excited for my coaching partnerships. I believe in my people.

And I understand you because, when you’re doing scary stuff, like starting a business or building your brand, you need reminders like:

You are enough.

You are on the right track.

You are not alone.

You are worthy.

You are capable.
